Where do I begin? Zalie Cakes is my go-to cake lady for every single special occasion in my life, no joke. From my Bridal Shower to my WEDDING DAY to my Baby Shower to Birthdays and Father’s Day and Mother’s Day, Zalie Cakes does it all. And it’s completely vegan and completely delicious! Maya is the owner and she is beyond sweet, professional and insanely talented (barely uses fondant on her cakes, so the taste is heavenly and the design doesn’t suffer either). I am so happy I found her at the Yellow Green Farmer’s Market in Jan 2019 and asked if she could make my Vegan Wedding Cake. Now they are opening their own brick and mortar bakery in downtown Hollywood! I can’t wait and neither should you! You need Zalie Cakes in your life right now.
I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a work event. My coworkers raved about how tasty they were and the fabulous presentation. They looked adorable. The cake was rich and moist. The frosting was just sweet enough. I’m so glad I happened across this bakery. My new go to place for desserts.
These are the best cakes in the whole freaking world! I was looking for the vegan place next door which I did not end up eating at because it didn't look good. But the cakes drew me in and the owner himself explained them to me. He has been baking since he was a kid and all the cakes are his own recipes. Absolute heaven, the atmosphere, the cakes the coffee, even the plates and the demitasse are beautiful! Highly highly highly recommend in fact I'm considering moving to Doral just to be near this shop!
Zallie Cakes not only has the most delicious vegan desserts, but incredibly kind service as well. Glad to know they are open till 9:30PM- got some last minute birthday desserts! They have a wide variety of desserts that are hard to find elsewhere. So grateful for Zallie’s!

Ordered a half dozen mini cakes and two oat milk cortaditos. Everything was delightful. Glad I finally tried this place. The lady let me try their almond milk soft serve and it was amazing. Went back to try their dairy-free shakes. I had the cake shake. It was really really good. I could have done without the mini cake on top and would like to try the regular milkshake next time. Highly recommend.
Zalie Cakes just opened and I went in today to check it out. The space is very large and not quite set up, but in the back there is a small case with some cakes, drinks, hummus and other items. There are homemade dog biscuits, hand made note cards and other items featured with signs to their Etsy stores, links to crafters/artists social media and other ways to purchase. There is a display showing the different types of cupcakes they have to offer. I have to say, I was not sure at first because they aren't totally set up. But, I have to say, they were the best vegan cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. We tried the confetti, peanut butter, and apple cupcakes. They were all really amazing! We have been vegan for over 10 years and we have never had cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies as good as these! I highly recommend checking Zalie Cakes out.
Vegan mini cakes / cupcakes are always consistently delicious! EVERY TIME! We have been going here for a 1 1/2 years and Zalie's pastries never disappoint! Visited the newer location around the corner regularly over the past few months & it is equally convenient. The service is always friendly & professional. Best vegan bakery around! Maya did an amazing job on all the desserts I ordered for my baby’s first birthday. From the custom Disney Mickey Mouse ClubHouse with sprinkles in the middle and the 2 smash cakes plus the 24 mini cakes she really outdid herself and everyone loved the desserts. Plus, if I may add, it was SO DELICIOUS 🤤. Everyone had something great to say about the cake and desserts! The party was a success and she was absolutely wonderful with communication! I will order my next cake or desserts for any upcoming event from here!
Zalie Cakes was amazing. I felt like I had stepped into a time capsule that transported me to the 90s with all the memorabilia found there. Plus you can’t go wrong with all their delicious vegan treats. Service was great! There was a mom and son team working while we were there. So cool to know it’s also family owned and operated.
